Friends --

On Monday night, I received an email from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's team. They had prepared a statement about recent world events (and the trauma created by them) and they wanted to include Project Healthy Minds.

The next day, Harry and Meghan published their note -- with Project Healthy Minds mentioned as an organization "doing critical work" on mental health. We're honored to be included.

As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex write, “the world is exceptionally fragile right now”. They continue:

With so many challenges happening simultaneously, it’s normal to be left feeling overwhelmed or hopeless. Mental health intersects with nearly every tragedy and social issue. That’s why it’s critical that we encourage people to take care of themselves and each other, and seek resources whenever they need them.

If you are struggling, know this: It’s okay to ask for help. You can find supportive resources for anxiety, grief, PTSD, trauma, and much more here in our resource guide.

If you are looking for ways to support humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan, Haiti, and for veterans, read Harry and Meghan’s inspiring note here for information on great organizations in need of support.

All the best,

Phil Schermer
