Nathan Urbach

VP of Development

Nathan serves as the Vice President of Development at Project Healthy Minds, bringing over two decades of leadership experience from prestigious organizations, including key positions at the NY Philharmonic and as the Interim Chief Advancement Officer at the New York Botanical Garden. Over the course of his career, he has consistently advanced the objectives of the organizations he has served by fostering a culture of collaboration and innovative leadership.

In his most recent position as Managing Director at Creative Fundraising Advisors, Nathan partnered with the Entertainment Community Fund and the Garden Conservancy. Earlier in his career he also served as Executive Director at CCS Fundraising, collaborating with notable organizations such as the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Westport Library, Film at Lincoln Center, and the Akilah Institute, a nonprofit college for women located in Kigali, Rwanda.

Nathan began his career in the artistic department at the New York City Opera before moving across the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts campus to manage the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.

Nathan has also contributed as a guest speaker at prestigious institutions like Opera America, the League of American Orchestras, and New York University's School of Professional Studies. He actively serves as a Trustee at Old Westbury Gardens as well as a Non-Trustee Advisor for Glimmerglass Opera. Nathan is celebrated as a distinguished alumnus of the Crane School of Music.
