Laura Vang

Laura is the Product Lead at Included Health, a NYC-based startup focused on raising care equality and creating a better healthcare experience for the LGBTQ+ community. On the side, she also helms the product team at Project Healthy Minds.

Previously, Laura was a Senior Product Manager at IBM Watson Health where she led the first AI-enabled software-as-a-medical-device product in the Watson Health Imaging portfolio. Laura started her career at IBM as part of Watson’s Leadership Development program and in Watson Health’s sales organization; she also completed product rotations in the Life Sciences and Oncology segments of IBM Watson Health.

Prior to joining IBM, Laura worked in Kaiser Permanente’s Innovation and Advanced Technology lab developing Kaiser Permanente’s digital care delivery strategy. When she is not at work, Laura can be found pursuing her passion for dancing, cooking, or reading one of the many books she’s partway through. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Engineering, Engineering Sciences from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College where she currently sits on the Thayer School Dean’s Council.
