Emily Westle
Emily is a Development Operations Associate at Project Healthy Minds, where she supports fundraising and operational initiatives. She works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive development strategy, leverage data, and improve system efficiency to engage stakeholders.
Prior to her current role, Emily helped launch Beyond Differences’ first NYC gala and fundraising initiative, expanding the organization’s reach nationwide. Working with an organization dedicated to social-emotional learning and combating social isolation was her first deep dive into mental health and inclusion advocacy. She also worked on the development team at Cooke School and Institute, which serves students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, overseeing events and supporting fundraising efforts to expand educational opportunities. Across these roles, Emily has remained committed to fostering support, resources, and a sense of belonging for neurodivergent communities.
Emily holds an M.A. with honors in Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews, where she served as Chieftain (president) of the Shinty Club and Head Producer of the university’s best (and only) improv group, Blind Mirth. An NYC native, she lives in Manhattan with her cat, Sasha.
