Michelle Riba, MD, MS
Dr. Riba is fellowship director of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship and is Chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Distress Guidelines. She is past President of the American Psychiatric Association, the Association for Academic Psychiatry, and the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training and Past Secretary for Scientific Publications, World Psychiatric Association. As director of the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center Psych Oncology Program, Dr. Riba leads a multidisciplinary group of clinicians who care for the emotional needs of cancer patients and their families. Through numerous scientific papers, APA courses, books, and presentations at scientific meetings, she continues to advance the dialogue and research in this important clinical area nationally and internationally.
